Sort of. I'm not a big fan of this move of Epiphany from January 6. Especially when it all seems to be nothing more than an accommodation of sloth.
Still, I hope all is well with you, reader.
Leave your Christmas decorations up until the 6th anyway.

I completely agree. There is a little too much accommodation of convenience of shuffling around holy days of obligation. We always keep our lights and tree up until at least the 6th. We will celebrate on the night of the 5th with the traditional Mexican bread Rosca which is eaten the night of the 5th in anticipation of the arrival of the 3 kings. (You also drink hot chocolate with it).
Well, maybe you should come to the Byzantine Catholic Church. We are having Epiphany service on the 6th, as usual!
I have NO intention of taking down my decorations, or STOP wishing people a "Merry Christmas!" until after the 6th! Hear, hear!!!
If there was a Byzantine church within 4 hours of here, we might give it a shot.
:-(
Time to move to Dallas!!! You have Byzantine and Mater Dei right here.
Now that I regularly attend the TLM on Sundays my calendar is all messed up X-D
I sometimes tell people what the holy day is and then later find out it's been changed in the NO calendar.
Dallas would be a great option. We could alternate between the FSSP and St. Basil's, throwing in the occasional Anglican Use.
