The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.

While I would love an outcry from Bishop D'Arcy and the rest of the nation's shepherds, I won't hold my breath.

I would be surprised of Bishop D'Arcy did not comment. He hasn't been exactly shy about denouncing the VMs and Queer Film Festival in the past. I hardly imagine he's going to sit idly by on this.
